Emily Drew Mash is inspired by the history of lifting and working out, so she created these three dumbbell prints as linoleum cuts pretty close to the original US patent prints designed between 1890-1920s. In some ways, our equipment today isn't that different from these inventions.
Each print itself is a 9 x 12" linoleum cut and hand printed with akua ink. Paper size is a few inches bigger than actual image (occasionally varies).
Each print is hand inked and run through a big steel Takach etching press, so there may be small variations to each print.
Each of the three images is available individually. All three can also be purchased together as a triptych.
